Monday- Arts and Crafts
Put yourself into the shoes of a child from 1666.
You are now in London in
1666! All you have with you is a sheet of paper and a pencil.
What can you see around
you, what are you wearing, what is the floor like, what sounds can you
hear?
Thinking about all of
these things I would like you to draw a picture on your sheet of paper.
You might draw a horse
and a cart or a house with a straw roof. Maybe you are at a market stall or
maybe you are sat by the noisy, busy river Thames. Can you remember what people used the river
for?
Once you have finished
your drawing you will be back into the year 2021.
To make your drawing look
like it has travelled through time you will need a tea bag!!
Dip your tea bag into
warm water and gently rub it all over your drawing. You might want to soak your tea bag into
the water then tip some of the water on to your paper - to make it look brown. You might want to tear the edge of your paper or
roll some bits.
Be careful not to use too
much water as this will put a hole in your paper.
