In
1666 men wanted to look like king Charles II. He wore a coat, short trousers and a waistcoat so men
from 1666 started to copy him making this the fashion.
The king also wore a wig and fake beauty spots on his
face called patches.
Can you try and draw a portrait of yourself?
A portrait is a drawing, a painting or a photo of a person, usually only showing the head or face
and shoulders.
Remember to add a wig and patches to your face so you
look like you king Charles.
Here are some photos of king Charles II you can use to get some ideas.
When
you have finished you could email your drawing to the school email address. year2@hovingham.org
