Art- Wednesday

 Art- Wednesday

In Africa wearing jewellery is quite popular. Traditional jewellery is usually big and bold often in bright colours.

Below is a wonderful necklace that I came across.

To make this you will need some pasta, a paper plate, some string and straws.

Ask an adult to a cut circle in the middle. At the top of your circle cut out a little gap for it to be able to go around your neck. Colour in your paper plate using bright colours. Stick the pasta around your plate in any pattern you like.

Next attach some string to the bottom of your plate and add some pasta to that as well. Remember to put a knot on the end to stop the pasta falling off.

Send in a photo of you wearing your new jewellery!
