It has been a busy few weeks in Year 2 but the children have settled well and enjoyed getting involved in story telling and lots of creative tasks.
The children have enjoyed the story 'The Colour Monster'. This book explores different feelings such as happiness, anger, calmness and love. In Forest School the children created different faces using sticks, leaves and chalk. They were very proud of their creations and enjoyed seeing if their friend could guess the emotion. The children also acted out the story in small groups and have written their own versions of the story.
